The city is wishing residents a safe and happy Labour Day long weekend
Brockville residents should expect several municipal services and facilities to be closed Monday, Sept. 7, for the Labour Day holiday.
The City of Brockville says City Hall, the Gord Watts Municipal Centre, Wastewater Treatment Centre and Water Filtration Plant will be closed.
Waste collection will also be suspended Monday. Residents are asked to put their waste out one day later than usual for the rest of the week.
The city’s compost site and transit service will be closed, along with the Brockville Arts Centre, Brockville Public Library and Brockville Tourism Visitor Information Centre.
The Brockville Museum will be open Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 5 Henry St.
The city is reminding residents to plan ahead for the holiday weekend and check service schedules before visiting municipal facilities.
Regular municipal services are expected to resume following the Labour Day holiday.
