Brockville City Council has made two official proclamations to support inclusion and health awareness this spring.
May 28th will be recognized as Menstrual Health Day in the city, and the Period Purse flag will fly at Tunnel Bay from May 26th to June 2nd.
Council also proclaimed June 2nd to 9th as Brockville Pride Week, recognizing the 2SLGBTTQQIAAP+ community. The Intersex-Inclusive Progress flag will be raised at Tunnel Bay for the entire week.
Both proclamations were made at the May 13th council meeting as part of Brockville’s commitment to supporting equality, education, and community engagement.
