Brockville residents are seeing a modest increase in water and wastewater rates, averaging about $4.50 per month, according to officials.
The adjustment reflects ongoing capital needs, says the City's Communications Coordinator, Natalie Finucan.
Officials say inflation-driven costs for wages, benefits and maintenance also contribute.
Finucan says steps have been taken to reduce the impact where possible.
