Brockville woman speaks about deadly Nepal floods leaving thousands missing

She says her family members are safe, but many others have lost loved ones and homes

A Brockville woman is speaking out about the devastating floods and mudslides in Nepal, where more than 1,000 people have died and thousands remain missing. 

Tabsum says that damaged roads, bridges and limited rescue equipment have made the disaster response difficult.

Tabsum thanked Canada for its support and called for people worldwide to stand with Nepal during the crisis.

She says her family members are safe, but many others have lost loved ones and homes.
