Cancer patients depend on this ride service — now Brockville and area volunteers are urgently needed

The Canadian Cancer Society is seeking volunteer drivers in Brockville, Kingston and surrounding communities for its Wheels of Hope program.

Mark Kahan is in charge of volunteer recruitment and he explains how to apply.

He says it means more than just driving cancer patients to their treatment appointments.

Flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement and volunteer support are provided.
