A 17-year-old Brockville teen appeared by Zoom in Brockville court again this morning in connection with the Cartier Court triple homicide investigation from May.
He is facing three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of assaulting a peace officer and one count of breaching a peace bond.
The case was before the court for a Crown pre-trial. A judicial pre-trial is also scheduled as the matter continues through the court process.
He appeared remotely, with councillor L. Schumacher also present in court.
The charges relate to the deaths of LouWanda, Mackayla and Nikita Elliott on Cartier Court.
He has not been convicted of the charges.
The next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 1 at the Brockville courthouse.
The case remains before the Ontario Court of Justice as pre-trial proceedings continue.
