Coffee Day fundraiser supports local Alzheimer programs

50 cents from every medium, large and extra-large coffee sold will go to this invaluable cause

A cup of coffee will help support people living with dementia and their caregivers across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville.
McDonald’s Coffee Day for Alzheimer’s returns September 17, with participating restaurants in Brockville, Prescott, Gananoque, Perth, Smiths Falls, and Carleton Place raising money for Alzheimer Society programs and services.

In the Lanark Leeds Grenville area, donations will help the local Alzheimer Society continue providing support, education and programs for people living with dementia, as well as their families and caregivers.
The Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds Grenville works with local families who are dealing with the challenges that can come with an Alzheimer’s or other form of dementia diagnosis.

The organization provides resources and support aimed at helping people remain connected to their communities, while also giving caregivers information and assistance as they navigate the disease.
Coffee Day offers residents a simple way to contribute — by stopping at a participating McDonald’s, enjoying a coffee and supporting the fundraiser.

The fundraiser comes as demand continues for dementia-related support and services. The Alzheimer Society says community fundraising is an important part of maintaining those programs and reaching local families.

Residents across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville are being encouraged to take part in Coffee Day on September 17 and help turn their morning coffee into support for local dementia services. 50 cents from every medium, large and extra-large coffee sold will go to this invaluable cause.
