June 17 at BGH
The Brockville & District Hospital Foundation is inviting the public to MEDtalks on June 17 at Brockville General Hospital.
Dr. Linna Li, Deputy Medical Officer of Health with the South East Health Unit, will speak on how to stay healthy during the summer months. Topics include how to prevent early skin damage, recognize signs of heat stroke, prepare for travel with vaccinations, and protect against ticks and mosquitoes.
Dr. Li completed her medical training at Queen’s University and holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She brings deep experience in both family medicine and public health.
The event is free and open to all. Organizers say it’s a great opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from public health experts.
Space is limited. Register online here to reserve a seat.
