From July 2 to July 25
Drivers and nearby residents can expect travel delays this July as roadwork begins on Stewart Boulevard. GIP Paving Inc. will start construction on Wednesday, July 2, between Centennial Road and Laurier Boulevard. The work is expected to finish by July 25.
The project will include milling, cold-in-place paving, hot mix paving, and granular shouldering. These activities may affect access to nearby properties and cause slower traffic through the area.
GIP Paving Inc. is asking for the public’s patience during this time and apologizes for any inconvenience the work may cause.
The company says the improvements are necessary to ensure a smoother and safer road for both drivers and pedestrians. Motorists are encouraged to plan extra time for their trips or find alternate routes when possible.
Updates on the project may be available through the city or contractor’s website as work progresses through the month.
