20 year-old faces numerous charges
A 20-year-old woman was arrested for impaired driving in Brockville on April 19, 2025, after attempting to evade police during a traffic stop.
At around 2:00 a.m., a Brockville Police officer initiated a stop near Broad St. and King St. W. The driver quickly fled, turning down side streets before pulling into a driveway on Bartholomew St., where the vehicle was stopped.
The driver and her male passenger were both identified, but neither had any right to the property on Bartholomew St. Officers suspected the driver had been drinking, and after a breath test, her blood alcohol concentration was found to be over the legal limit.
The woman’s G2 licence was suspended, and her vehicle was impounded. She faces charges of operation while impaired and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80mg. She was released with a future court date.
