A building on King Street West in downtown Brockville could be converted to include five new apartments and a self-service storage facility, The Recorder and Times reports.
The proposal, submitted by Matthew Linton of Blueprint Boulevard on behalf of property owners Shawna Newark and Cody Watkins, was presented to the city’s planning and development committee on Jan. 6. Two of the apartments would be located behind commercial spaces, with one apartment each on the first floor and in the basement.
The owners are requesting a zoning bylaw amendment and reduced parking requirements for the property, which currently houses Competitive Roofing on the main floor and three apartments in the rear.
