The reminder is intended to help residents access the service easily while keeping operations running smoothly during the tax filing season
The Volunteer Centre of St. Lawrence-Rideau is reminding residents that low-cost income tax preparation help is available during the busy tax filing season.
The volunteer-run service offers assistance to people looking for affordable help completing their income tax returns. Demand has increased in recent weeks as tax season ramps up.
Residents who want to book an appointment or ask questions are encouraged to contact the Volunteer Centre directly at 613-499-9393. Staff answer calls Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Appointments take place at the Volunteer Centre, which is located on the second floor of the building. Visitors are asked to walk along the sidewalk beside the building and enter through the first door to reach the service.
Drivers are also reminded not to park in the United Way staff parking lot when visiting the Volunteer Centre.
The reminder is intended to help residents access the service easily while keeping operations running smoothly during the tax filing season.
