The event is being promoted as a welcoming judgment-free community support space
Rideau Community Health Services and the Employment + Education Centre will host a free Community Health Clinic in Brockville on May 26, offering residents access to legal, financial, housing and health support in one location.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the Employment + Education Centre, 105 Strowger Blvd. Organizers say no appointment is required.
Residents can receive help with legal aid, housing rights and Ontario Disability Support Program appeals. Support will also be available for housing applications, landlord and tenant concerns, utility issues and Ontario Works or Trillium benefit applications.
The clinic will also connect people with identification services including birth certificate, OHIP, SIN and CRA support. Free tax clinic information and referrals for medical, dental and mental health services will also be offered.
The event is being promoted as a welcoming judgment-free community support space. Rideau Community Health Services says the clinic aims to improve access to essential resources.
