Families in Spencerville can enjoy a free summer evening at the Spencerville Mill.
The Spencerville Mill and Museum will host its Ice Cream Social on Aug. 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will offer free admission, ice cream and activities for families.
Visitors can choose from ice cream toppings, take part in face painting and play outdoor games. Guests will also have a chance to paint rocks as part of an effort to grow Spencer the Snake.
Live music by Iryna will be featured during the evening.
