Families looking for free summer entertainment will have two chances to enjoy outdoor movie nights at the Brockville Tunnel as the Brockville Police Service presents Movies in the Park.
The free community events will take place at dusk on July 23 and Aug. 13 at the popular downtown landmark. The July screening will feature Super Mario Galaxy, while Zootopia 2 will be shown in August.
Residents are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy an evening under the stars with friends, neighbours and family members.
Free popcorn will be available at the event canteen. Candy and drinks will also be available for purchase.
Organizers say the movie nights are designed to bring the community together in a safe, welcoming and family-friendly setting during the summer months.
The events are open to everyone and there is no admission fee. Brockville Police Service says it looks forward to welcoming residents for movies, snacks and community fun at the Brockville Tunnel.
