The 33rd annual Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament has raised $342,423 for the Palliative Care Outreach Program at Brockville General Hospital.
The annual fundraiser yesterday brought golfers, sponsors, donors and volunteers together for a day of golf and community support. Organizers said the weather held off, allowing participants to take to the course and support patients and their families.
The latest fundraising total brings the tournament’s 33-year total to more than $6 million for palliative care.
Organizers thanked everyone who took part in the event, including the golfers, sponsors, donors and volunteers who helped make the fundraiser a success.
