Environment Canada says Brockville and the surrounding area could see significant rainfall through tomorrow morning as a slow-moving low-pressure system stalls over the region.
The weather agency says total rainfall amounts of 50 to 100 mm are possible in some locations. Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected, with localized downpours that could push rainfall totals above 50 mm and close to 100 mm in isolated areas.
Environment Canada notes rainfall amounts will vary widely because of the scattered nature of thunderstorms. As conditions develop, rainfall warnings could be issued for parts of the region if confidence increases.
