The incident occurred on August 20th
Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police are investigating an apparent case of voyeurism at a child-care centre on the Kemptville Campus.
Police said they were called on Aug. 20 after a recording device, identified as a camera, was discovered at the site. The incident is being treated as a serious offence because it involves young children.
The OPP’s Grenville County Crime Unit is assisting in the investigation. Officers have released limited information to protect the children and families connected to the centre.
Investigators are urging anyone with knowledge of the case to come forward. Tips can be provided directly by calling 1-888-310-112. Anonymous information can also be shared through Crime Stoppers at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
Police say public assistance could be key to the investigation as they continue to gather evidence. The case has raised concern among parents in the community as officials work to ensure safety at local child-care facilities.
