The drive runs until Friday, December 5th
There’s less than a week left to brighten the Christmas of local seniors in Brockville.
The annual Stocking Drive for Seniors, presented by Senior Support Services - LLG, runs until December 5 and is asking the community to donate gifts or fill a stocking for older adults who may be spending the season alone.
The community drive aims to ensure every senior feels remembered and appreciated this Christmas.
Organizers say the event has become a seasonal highlight, showing how Brockville comes together to care for one another.
Community Relations Officer, Sarah Dodgson, highlighted a few donation ideas.
She noted how donors can drop off items.
Donations can be dropped off at 2235 Parkedale Avenue during regular business hours.
Residents are encouraged to act fast to make sure every senior receives a gift this holiday season.
