One of the themes this year is "Protecting Ontario"
This is Police Week across the Province and the OPP's Bill Dickson says one of the themes this year is "Protecting Ontario."
Dickson says that means working with people in the community, from making sure kids are wearing bike helmets, to making sure school zones are observed by drivers.
He also says they start to reach out to the community at a young age to make sure they have a good relationship with the Police.
Police Week is organized by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police in partnership with the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
