It's National Nurses Week (May 12-18), and locally at Brockville General Hospital, Kasey Donaghue is a registered nurse in the operating room at Brockville General Hospital.
Kasey says that his Mother Angie and his grandmother were big influences on him to get into the nursing profession.
He takes us through what a typical day in the "OR" looks like.
Kasey then explains what separates BGH from other hospitals after previously working at Toronto General Hospital.
The theme for this year's Nurses Week is: "The power of nurses to transform health".
