There’s a lemonade stand in Maynard that’s doing more than just quenching thirst, it’s supporting a child in need.
Rebecca Walter and her sons, are hosting a weekend-long lemonade stand at 3513 Charleville Road to raise money for a close friend in New Brunswick.
Decklan, is described as a kind and joyful child who remembers everyone’s name. A large tumor in his brain is affecting him significantly.
The stand offers lemonade, frozen lemonade, popsicles, and candy bags, all on a "take what you want, leave what you can" basis.
All proceeds will go toward helping Decklan and his family with hospital snacks and comfort during recovery.
Donations can also be made online through the GoFundMe page here Fundraiser for Shaelyn Whitaker by danica smith : Donate to help Decklan and his family
