At St. James Anglican Church in Maitland this Sunday
St. James Anglican Church in Maitland will host a festive Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, at 3 p.m., offering an hour of music and holiday cheer.
The historic church at 20 Church Street invites people of all ages to gather, sing, and celebrate the season in a warm, welcoming setting.
The program will feature a mix of popular carols and seasonal selections performed on the church’s historic organ and baby grand piano.
Sharon Adams, a local musician with extensive experience performing across North America, the Caribbean, and Europe, will be the featured artist.
Organizer Sarah Jane Dumbrille highlighted Adams’s impressive background.
Many will remember Sharon performing blissfully in local parades.
She has performed in churches, concert halls, and parades, always sharing her gift with joy and heart.
She also noted some of her many accomplishments.
Dumbrille noted that refreshments will be served after the concert and highlighted a special addition to the program.
The concert is free, with a goodwill offering welcomed to support St. James Anglican Church.
