Businesses interested in supporting the program can contact Deputy Fire Chief Chris Paul at the fire department for details about sponsorship opportunities
The Brockville Fire Department is calling on businesses to help support its third annual firefighting camp for young women aged 15 to 18.
The three-day camp, known as Belles and Ladders, began in 2024 and was the first program of its kind in Brockville. Similar camps run across Ontario, but the local version has quickly gained attention from participants and staff.
Organizers say sponsorships and in-kind donations will help keep the camp free for all participants, regardless of social or economic background.
Several sponsorship levels are available, ranging from a $5,000 event title partnership to smaller contributions supporting equipment, lunches, and camper supplies. Funds will also help build a reserve of protective gear and training resources for future camps.
Businesses interested in supporting the program can contact Deputy Fire Chief Chris Paul at the fire department for details about sponsorship opportunities.
