Local MPP announces nearly $2 million dollars for mental health and community safety in Brockville and area

MCRT and Community Safety and Policing Grant

MPP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes, Steve Clark was at Brockville Police headquarters to make two funding announcements this morning.

The first is for the Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT). A program that pairs a mental health with a police officer.

The second announcement is for the Community Safety and Policing Grant.

Clark says he's thrilled to announce almost $2 million dollars in funding for mental health, youth outreach and crisis response in our communities.
