Local MPP Steve Clark says last week's announcement in Spencerville about Ontario transfering nearly 2,500 acres of surplus land to HFI Pyrotechnics is a real game changer for the township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal.
He says next steps are already underway.
The expansion project, backed by provincial officials and local council, will add more than 150 jobs and support a $2.6 million facility upgrade. It aims to strengthen defence production, local revenues and regional economic development.
