A 50/50 raffle will be held in conjunction with the telethon, offering ticket packages ranging from $5 to $100
A community-wide fundraising effort will take place Feb. 21, as the Palliative Care Telethon airs live across Brockville radio stations. The broadcast will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on MyFM 104.9, Giant FM 103.7 and Hustle & Heart 99.9 myFM.
Organizers are encouraging residents to tune in, take part in fundraising activities and support local palliative care services. All proceeds raised during the telethon will go directly to the Palliative Care Outreach Program at Brockville General Hospital.
Volunteers will also be accepting in-person donations at a new location, Richard’s Coffeehouse at 234 King Street West, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the day of the event.
A 50/50 raffle will be held in conjunction with the telethon, offering ticket packages ranging from $5 to $100. Tickets are available online, with the draw scheduled for 4 p.m. at MBC Media in Brockville. More details and updates are expected to be released Feb. 1.
