A community-wide fundraising effort is underway as the Palliative Care Radiothon airs live across Brockville radio stations.
The broadcast runs tomorrow (Feb. 21) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on MyFM 104.9, Giant FM 103.7, and Hustle & Heart 99.9 myFM.
Organizers are encouraging residents to tune in, participate in fundraising activities, and support local palliative care services.
All proceeds raised during the radiothon go directly to the Palliative Care Outreach Program at Brockville General Hospital.
Trish Buote, executive director of the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation, explained why the radiothon is so important.
