Volunteers are also required for setup and teardown duties, helping organizers prepare the grounds before the fair and clean up afterward
The organizers of the Annual Lyndhurst Turkey Fair are looking for volunteers to help make this year's event a success.
A volunteer information meeting is scheduled for August 24 at 7 p.m. at the Lyndhurst Legion, where anyone interested in getting involved can learn more about available opportunities. Organizers say volunteers of all ages are welcome, including students seeking community service hours for graduation requirements.
Help is needed in several areas, including the fair's Kid Zone, which will feature family-friendly activities throughout the event. The opportunity is being promoted as a great way for teens to earn volunteer hours while having fun and gaining valuable experience.
Volunteers are also required for setup and teardown duties, helping organizers prepare the grounds before the fair and clean up afterward.
Anyone interested in volunteering, or simply looking for more information, is encouraged to attend the August 24 meeting. More details can be found through the Lyndhurst Turkey Fair's Facebook page.
