Will continue until September 19
Roadwork is now underway across several Brockville streets as part of a major paving project expected to continue until September 19.
Drivers can expect delays and detours along key routes, including King Street East, Laurier Boulevard, Stewart Boulevard, James Street, and William Street. Other affected areas include Ormond Street, Central Avenue, Elm Street, Hill Street, and Kent Boulevard.
Construction signs and pylons are in place while crews from G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction Co. Ltd. complete the work. The city warns that weather could impact the timeline, and drivers should prepare for possible changes.
The paving project will cause traffic disruptions, but efforts are being made to keep the inconvenience to a minimum.
Residents and commuters are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes when possible.
