A major water main break at the busy intersection of Stewart Boulevard and Parkedale Avenue in Brockville has been repaired, but lane closures remain in place as road restoration continues.
The break has caused traffic delays and water pressure issues. A portion of Stewart Blvd. remains reduced to one lane in front of the ESSO Gas Station.
City crews are working to restore the road surface. A city staff member tells our news room that work is expected to be finished by tomorrow, but that is subject to change.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area if possible, or plan for extra travel time.
