Man arrested after break-in at Brockville mechanic shop
Brockville police have arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with a break-in at Hall’s Automotive on Oxford Avenue and King Street East.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Friday when the suspect climbed over a fence onto the property where items were stored.
Police were called to the scene, but the man had fled before officers arrived.
After a brief search, police located the suspect nearby and arrested him.
He has been charged with breaking and entering, along with three counts of failing to comply with probation.
The man was released on new conditions and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
