Police arrested a 44-year-old man from Ottawa and a 21-year-old woman from North Dundas Township without incident
Two people are facing multiple charges after a major drug seizure in North Grenville.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region said officers from the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) launched an investigation in late 2025 into cocaine sales across Leeds and Grenville. On Wednesday, February 4, the CSCU, with help from the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, executed a search warrant at a motel on Highway 43.
Police arrested a 44-year-old man from Ottawa and a 21-year-old woman from North Dundas Township without incident. Officers seized more than 167 grams of suspected cocaine, suspected crack cocaine, over $5,000 in cash, nearly 20 canisters of bear spray, a spiked bat, and other items linked to drug trafficking.
Both face charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. The man was also wanted on other arrest warrants. Both remain in custody.
