Council has approved a 3.95% increase for ratepayers
Prescott Mayor Gauri Shankar tells our Bruce Wylie that the 2025 budget has now been passed.
He says after all that hard work, Council has approved a 3.95% increase for ratepayers.
The budget includes capital projects and other community-focused initiatives aimed at improving life for residents in the town, as well as support for local businesses and other local organizations.
