A Frankville man is facing a number of charges in Kingston, Gananoque, and Brockville after his arrest
More information is coming from Kingston Police in regards to an arrest of a suspended driver.
Last Wednesday, officers went to a west-end establishment and located a Frankville man who was wanted by Gananoque Police.
Investigators say the man then fled on foot as officers gave chase.
With the assistance of the Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, the man was caught and placed under arrest.
The accused was spotted driving a vehicle last month in Gananoque.
Investigators there determined that the driver was prohibited from driving and officers went in to make an arrest.
But the driver managed to escape after ramming a police cruiser.
The 33-year-old is back in Gananoque awaiting a bail hearing on charges that include resisting arrest, dangerous driving, and flight from police.
Investigators say the accused is also wanted on outstanding charges in Brockville for driving and breach offenses.
Gananoque Police thanked Kingston Police in helping apprehend the driver.
