Liberal government paid for work without verifying completion
On the heels of the Auditor General Report this week, Leeds-Grenville Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MP Michael Barrett explains the issue of the Liberal government paying ArriveCan's main contractor, GC Strategies without knowledge of work being completed.
Barrett says it gets worse when the Auditor General said that the Liberal government didn't verify that they were paying market rate in four out of five contracts that they looked at.
Barrett explains why this is a problem, and says Canadians need to get their money back.
