Mary Brown’s in Brockville marked its first anniversary this past weekend with local officials, staff and community supporters celebrating the restaurant’s growth.
Owner Waji thanked customers and employees while announcing plans for a new bakery opening right across from Mary Brown's this fall.
The new bakery called "Waji the Baker" will be his third business opening in Brockville after successfully operating Sunset Grill and Mary Browns.
Waji credited his manager, Carol Bruck and the staff for their hard work.
Local leaders including Mayor Matt Wren, MP Michael Barrett and MPP Steve Clark highlighted the business’s community involvement and continued investment in Brockville.
