Work on the outdoor component of the City of Brockville's Multi-Use Recreation Facility project is progressing as planned at Memorial Park.
Crews are in the early stages of site planning and preparation.
City communications coordinator Natalie Finucan said crews have been working to minimize disruption.
Finucan also spoke about the additions being made as part of the project.
The north ball diamond is being built on the current M5 rugby and soccer field and is expected to be ready for regular league play in spring 2027.
The second diamond will be built east of Kinsmen No. 1 and is expected to be completed in spring 2028.
