Parents in Leeds and Grenville now have a chance to help improve access to licensed child care.
The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville has launched its 2025 Child Care Survey, asking parents of children aged 0 to 12 to share their needs for daycare and before-and-after-school care.
The short, anonymous survey takes just 3 to 5 minutes to complete. It’s open to families who currently need a licensed child care space or expect to need one within the next one to three years.
Officials say the results will help the Children’s Services Department plan for new child care spaces across the region.
The online survey is available now at www.surveymonkey.com/r/2025ChildCareSurvey. No personal details are required.
Anyone needing help to complete the survey can email karen.woods@uclg.on.ca.
More child care spaces could soon be on the way thanks to feedback from local families.
