Despite the uncertainty, Jones plans to remain involved at the Noshery for the time being
The owner of Brockville’s Noshery is staying positive after being diagnosed with a treatable form of tonsil cancer.
Stef Jones shared the news in a Facebook post, prompting an immediate show of support from the local community.
Jones says the response has been one of the things that has stood out most during the difficult time.
He is also getting support from his family as he continues to balance his health and the business. His son, Spencer, has stepped up to help in the kitchen while Jones focuses on treatment and recovery.
Despite the uncertainty, Jones plans to remain involved at the Noshery for the time being.
He says he is maintaining a positive attitude while working through the diagnosis and is grateful for the support shown by customers, friends, family and the wider Brockville community.
