Northern Cables Inc, a staple here in Brockville since 1996 when Shelley Bacon and a small group of former Phillips Cables staff founded the company, continues to thrive despite economic challenges.
Bacon said tariffs aren't an issue at this time.
There have been no layoffs, Bacon added.
He also addressed expansion rumours.
Bacon expressed the company's desire to support local organizations and on that note, they were happy to donate $1,000 to the Rotary Harvest Sharing Food Drive in support of the Brockville and Area Food Bank.
