The Alzheimer Society Lanark Leeds Grenville is preparing for its 7th Annual Red Dress Gala, set for Saturday, Nov. 1,, at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
With this year’s theme, Old Hollywood, the event promises an evening of glamour, music, dancing, and a roast beef buffet — all in support of local Alzheimer programs and services.
Sarah Cavanagh from the Alzheimer Society says the gala plays a key role in raising awareness and funds for the organization’s initiatives.
She explained that proceeds help deliver essential services including education, support groups, and adult day programs across the region.
Guests can also look forward to a silent auction featuring a variety of prizes, with all proceeds staying local to support individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
Cavanagh highlighted some of the prizes attendees can win.
Although tickets are sold out, organizers encourage residents to mark the event on their calendars for next year’s celebration.
The Red Dress Gala continues to shine as a beacon of hope and community support for those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.
