Organizers say every donation, no matter the size, helps care for the dogs and cats staying at the centre while they await new families
The Ontario SPCA Leeds and Grenville Animal Centre is asking the community to help by donating dish soap to support the animals in its care.
The centre says it is running low on the everyday cleaning supply, which is used to wash food and water bowls, food preparation items, enrichment toys and other equipment.
Staff say dish soap is an essential part of keeping animals healthy, comfortable and ready for adoption while they wait for their forever homes.
Community members who are able to donate one or more bottles are encouraged to drop them off during regular business hours.
Donations can be made at the Ontario SPCA Leeds and Grenville Animal Centre, located at 800 Centennial Rd. in Brockville. The centre is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
