The Ontario SPCA Leeds and Grenville Animal Centre is making an urgent call for more foster homes for cats and kittens.
With more, here’s Community Outreach Coordinator, Katelyn Stojadinov.
The centre says foster volunteers are needed to care for cats and kittens until they are healthy, old enough, or ready to be adopted.
Fostering helps free up space at the shelter while giving animals a safe and caring temporary home.
Stojadinov also talks about the process.
From there, foster families will be contacted when cats need a temporary home.
The Ontario SPCA provides initial supplies, including litter, food, medication and other necessary items.
Stojadinov talked about why it’s important to make sure furry friends have their own proper area or room.
