On Dec. 16, 2024, police allege the accused and another suspect fired several rounds into a home on Church Street
Police say a 26-year-old Ottawa man is facing multiple serious charges after being linked to two shootings in Brockville and several violent crimes in eastern Ontario.
The Ottawa Police Service, working with Brockville police and the Russell County OPP, arrested the man following a joint investigation into shootings in 2024.
Police say that on Oct. 27, 2024, the accused fired several gunshots into an apartment building on Fairknowe Drive. Bullets were found inside multiple units, but no one was injured.
On Dec. 16, 2024, police allege the accused and another suspect fired several rounds into a home on Church Street. Again, no injuries were reported.
Investigators say ballistics and DNA evidence helped link the man to other violent offences in the Ottawa area, as well as a firearm-related home invasion in Limoges.
The man remains in custody facing multiple Criminal Code charges. Police continue to ask the public for information.
