Located at 125 Stewart Blvd. (inside Stinger's)
Our focus on Mental Health Week continues by talking to Willy Stevenson. A local musician who represents the Do It For Aaron Foundation (DIFA) and under that umbrella, Aaron's Musical Instrument Lending Library (Aaron's M.I.L.L).
The not-for-profit service in memory of his music-loving son Aaron, who tragically passed away in September of 2013.
Located inside the Stinger's Paintball building in the old Brockville Shopping Centre at 125 Stewart Blvd, Aaron's M.I.L.L is a community hub for anyone who wants to use music as an outlet. Willy touches on the impact that music has on ones mental health.
Willy lives by one of Aaron's sayings that he applies to the music lending library on a daily basis, "when words fail, music speaks." He says it absolutely rings true when it comes to mental health.
