An out-of-town couple says they witnessed Wednesday night's storm while visiting Blockhouse Island here in Brockville.
Natalie and her partner Dave are from Napanee and she describes what they saw.
Natalie says they also saw what appeared to be a funnel cloud as well.
The storm forced the cancellation of the annual Canada Day fireworks with a new date to be determined.
