Additional details are available through the Town of Gananoque website
The Gord Brown Memorial Canada 150 Outdoor Rink in Gananoque is once again open to the public and is expected to remain available through September, weather permitting.
Town officials say staff will continue monitoring the rink boards and glass for any potential hazards following previous damage to the facility. Residents are being asked to help protect the rink by avoiding the use of hard discs, which can contribute to wear and damage to the boards and glass.
The Town will provide updates on rink conditions, schedules, and availability through its website and social media channels as weather conditions change throughout the season.
Officials thanked residents for their patience while repairs and assessments were completed and encouraged users to enjoy the facility safely. Booking information, schedules, and additional details are available through the Town of Gananoque website.
