Get ready to hit the water for a day of fun, friendly competition, and prizes on the St. Lawrence River!
The 5th Annual Front of Yonge Paddle Poker Run is happening Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Brown’s Bay.
The event offers two routes, one for beginners and one for more experienced paddlers.
Organizer Leslie Macpherson explains the poker aspect of the run.
Participants simply need their own paddle craft and the determination to win.
Macpherson says there are plenty of appetizing prizes up for grabs.
Some already announced include a guided paddle and a Home Depot bistro set.
A safety demonstration will be held 15 minutes before the start.
The cost is $15 for individuals or $35 for families.
