Currently 64 UCDSB schools issue electronic report cards
About 84,000 report cards were issued electronically across the Upper Canada District School Board this year.
IT Manager Jim Guerin said they had to shift their wide-spread rollout after the five pilot schools about a month from February due to the cyber attack, but it went off without a hitch after that.
93% of students have at least one parent with access to My Family Room, the online portal parents and guardians access for news and these report cards.
Guerin said those not on the system still receive paper report cards, and they're hoping to build the user base even bigger.
Trustee David McDonald said My Family Room is one of the crowning jewels of the UCDSB, and referred to the new electronic report card system as an example of the board adapting.
Currently 64 UCDSB schools issue electronic report cards.
